Allows grinding of small samples and precipitation for high recovery of proteins and nucleic acids. The MGR is high tensile micro-particles which effectively disrupts nuclei and other cell organelles. Can be used with any homogenization technique, including high-speed mechanical grinders such as Polytron and high-energy sonicators. Does not bind proteins or nucleic acids, minimizes the loss by keeping the processing in a single tube. Simply mix the biological samples with Molecular Grinding ResinTM and grind or homogenize the sample. Size: Supplied as 5x1ml vial - enough Molecular Grinding ResinTM for 200 typical isolation (100 mg tissue).
