Cefoxitin
Cefoxitin is a cephamycin antibiotic grouped with the second generation cephalosporins. It is effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and is especially effective against anaerobic bacteria. Cefoxitin is resistant to degradation by β-lactamases.
