Our Bioassays cover a wide range of proteomic and cell biology fields. Our CytoScan products offer a range of
non-radioactive bioassays for the study of chemical and cell-mediated cytotoxicity, viability, cell death or cell proliferation. Included are cell proliferation and cell toxicity assays which feature lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) assays, WST-1 assays and  sulforhodamine B (SRB) assays. Our apoptotic line features caspase assays and a wide selection of inhibitors.

An array of highly sensitive protein quantification assays are available including NI(Non-Interfering) protein assay, a colorimetric protein assay that overcomes interference of common laboratory agents, and our CB-X  assay which is designed to be compatible with all commonly used buffers and conditions.

We offer continuous enzyme coupled assays for methylation that can continuously monitor SAM-dependent methyltransferases without the use of radioactive labels or endpoint measurements.

We have a phosphatase assay for the quantification of phosphatases and three phosphatase inhibitor cocktails to inhibit phosphatases and for phosphatase studies.

PEROXsay Peroxide Assays and a variety of enzymes are also available.

SPN™ Protein Assays

A novel protein assay that is suitable for single sample or high throughput protein estimation. The SPN™ and SPN™-htp protein assays are rapid assays that are suitable for as little as 0.5..

Staurosporine is a strong inhibitor of phosphalipid/Ca2+ dependent protein kinase and platelet aggregation. It is most commonly used as an inducer of apoptosis in several mammalian cell types. It is a..

Taq PLUS DNA Polymerase

Taq Plus DNA Polymerase is a mixture of Taq DNA Polymerase and Pfu, a proofreading DNA Polymerase, which allows for the amplification of long templates, up to 20kb, with high fidelity. The two enzymes..

TMRE Mitochondrial Membrane Potential Assay

TMRE Mitochondrial Membrane Potential Assay quantifies changes in mitochondrial membrane potential of live cells via microplate fluorometry, fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry. Tetramethylr..

Trypan Blue 0.4% Solution

Trypan Blue 0.4% Solution is commonly used as a cell stain to measure cell viability using dye exclusion method. The dye exclusion method is based on the principle that cell impermeable dyes like Tryp..

Trypsin (Human, Recombinant)

Trypsin is a serine protease that cleaves peptides on C-terminal end of lysine and arginine amino acid residues. The pH optimum of trypsin is pH 7.0-8.0. Trypsin is inhibited by serine protease inhibi..

Trypsin, Mass Spectrometry Grade

A Chemically Modified, TPCK treated, Affinity Purified Trypsin Trypsin is a serine endopeptidase that specifically cleaves peptide bonds on the carboxy side of s-aminoethyl cysteine, arginine and l..

X-Gal (5-Bromo-4-chloro-3-indoxyl-beta-D-galactopyranoside)

5-Bromo-4-chloro-3-indolyl β-D-galactopyranoside is most commonly known as X-Gal. X-gal is a histochemical substrate for β-galactosidase which cleaves X-Gal to yield an insoluble blue precip..
