Weigert's Iron Hematoxylin Stain Kit

Weigert´s Iron Hematoxylin Stain Kit is a nuclear staining solution containing, hematoxylin, ferric chloride and hydrochloric acid used in many non-routine techniques (special stains) because, it resists decolorization in acidic staining solutions. Hematoxylin is frequently used together with Eosin, nuclear fast red, periodic acid or alcian blue.
