Description interleukin 1 receptor accessory protein like 2(IL1RAPL2) Homo sapiens The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the interleukin 1 receptor family. This protein is similar to the interleukin 1 accessory proteins, and is most closely related to interleukin 1 receptor accessory protein-like 1 (IL1RAPL1). This gene and IL1RAPL1 are located at a region on chromosome X that is associated with X-linked non-syndromic mental retardation. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008],
Protein Expression Brain,Fetal brain,Liver,Thalamus,
Subcellular Localization integral component of membrane,
Protein Function similarity:Belongs to the interleukin-1 receptor family.,similarity:Contains 1 TIR domain.,similarity:Contains 3 Ig-like C2-type (immunoglobulin-like) domains.,tissue specificity:Detected at low levels in fetal and adult brain, in particular in the frontal lobe, temporal lobe and cerebellum. Detected at very low levels in skin, liver, fetal ovary and in placenta.,
