LB Broth [Miller]

LB Broth, Miller formulation, is widely used microbial growth medium used for cultivation of E.coli. The medium is rich in nutrients such as peptides, amino acids, water-soluble vitamins and carbohydrates. The medium is suitable for non-selective cultivation of E. coli strains for cloning, DNA plasmid production and production of recombinant proteins. In addition suitable for selective cultivation when appropriate antibiotics are added.

Features:

• Sterile filtered with 0.2 micron filter units. Ready to use
• Composition: 1% Tryptone, 0.5 % Yeast extract and 1 % sodium chloride, pH range 6.5-7.2
• Available in 1 L and 10 x 1 L size
• Bottles in high quality sterile PETG bottles.
