Sau DNA Polymerase, Large fragment is from Staphylococcus aureus and is modified to retain its 5’→ 3’ DNA polymerase activity with its 5’→ 3’ exonuclease domain removed. It also lacks the 3’→ 5’ exonuclease activity.
