Blood collection tube is used to collect and transport whole blood at ambient temperatures. It collects an exact amount of whole blood while stabilizes DNA, RNA and inactivating any pathogens in the sample.
Blood Collection Tubes are sterile, red-top tubes for diagnostic testing. Red top blood tubes do not contain additives or anticoagulants. These blood collection vacuum tubes are made of shatter-resistant, latex-free plastic. Coated interior with water soluble silicone and sterilized by gamma radiation. Silicone coated tube indicates that the interior surface of the Blood Collection Tube has been coated with a water soluble silicone material. Sterilization applies to the tube and stopper interior only, and not to the outside of the tube or to the packaging.
