Yeast DNA Related Products

Three kits are offered for the extraction of genomic DNA from yeast. OmniPrep™ for Yeast allows for the purification of highly pure genomic DNA, XIT™ genomic DNA from yeast uses lytic digestion and protein precipitation to release high quality DNA and Yeast Geno-DNA-Template™ is ideal for rapid extraction yeast DNA for use as a template in PCR. 

For rapid single step yeast transformation in under a minute our Fast Yeast Transformation Kit^™ is highly efficient and our EZ Yeast™ Plasmid Prep is designed for the rapid isolation of 2μ plasmids from yeast patches or yeast grown in small liquid cultures. Longlife^™ Zymolyase^®, a highly stable and ready-to-use yeast lytic enzyme is also available. 

Yeast Protein Related Products

For the extraction of proteins from yeast , two lysis buffer systems are offered to extract active, soluble proteins, PopLysis™ Yeast Lysis and Extraction and Yeast PE LB™. For the extraction of the total yeast proteome the chaotropic FOCUS™ Yeast Proteome is recommended. To preserve your protein of interest, a yeast specific protease inhibitor cocktail should be used, Yeast/ Fungal ™​ProteaseArrest.  Saccharomyces cerevisiae GenLysate™ is a yeast cell lysate of total proteins, extracted from Saccharomyces cerevisiae and is ready to use for SDS-PAGE and Western blotting purposes. Several kits are offered for the extraction and purification of 6X His or GST tagged recombinant proteins from yeast.
