The Swift Film Cleaner™ is suitable for all experiments that use film to develop the result, including gel shift assays, Western, Southern and Northern blots. The following procedure is suitable for all developed films, new and old, and takes a few minutes to reduce the background. The cleaner is quickly stopped once the correct exposure has been reached.
