Immobilized Amoxicillin


​Amoxicillin is the 4-hydroxy analog of ampicillin and has similar actions and uses as of ampicillin. It shows specific antibacterial activity against Enterococcus faecalis, Heliobacter pylori, and Salmonella species. 


Immobilized Amoxicillin  is made by covalently coupling amoxicillin to 6% cross linked agarose and is used for isolating amoxicillin binding proteins, receptors and specific antibodies.

Features:

  • Amoxicillin coupled to 6% cross-linked Agarose

  • Coupling is covalent through linkage of amino or carboxyl group depending upon the antibiotic to the pre-activated agarose.

  • Available in 5 ml and 10 ml sizes

  • Immobilized Amoxicillin is used for purification of amoxicillin binding proteins or receptors or specific antibodies.
