Immobilized L-Cysteine

L-Cysteine is semi-essential thiol containing amino acid which is used in the biosynthesis of proteins. It is oxidized to form cystine.

Immobilized L-cysteine is prepared by covalently coupling amiono group of L-cysteine to the preactivated 6% cross-linked agarose.
