Purification & Chromatography

G-Biosciences offers protein purification and protein chromatography reagents, including agarose resins for coupling researchers ligands, via versus coupling chemistries, or pre-coupled ligands for purification of specific protein tags. We offer activated agarose resins for conjugation of proteins and biomolecules through amines, carbohydrates, carboxyls, sulfhydryls, hydroxyls and activated hydrogens for coupling your ligand to agarose or magnetic beads. We offer premade protein purification resins for the isolation of specific protein groups or protein tags, including streptavidin and avidin purification, biotinylated protein purification, calmodulin binding protein (CBP) purification, C-Reactive protein purification, GST tagged protein purification, 6X His tagged protein purification, Heparin binding protein purificaiton and glycoprotein purification with immobilized lectins. For antibody purification resins, Protein A resin, Protein G resin and Protein A/G resin are offered in multiple formats, including resin, spin columns and FPLC columns.  Several antibody purification products based on our proprietary Pearl™ IgG Purification resin are offered, including an antibody clean-up kit and a monoclonal antibody purification kit.

Gel filtration resins or size exclusion resins are also offered as resin alone or as spin format columns. The resins offered are G-Sep™-25 and G-Sep™-50 that are equivalents to the well established gel filtration resins for desalting and buffer exchange.  Agarose 4B, CL-4B, 6B and CL-6B are agarose and cross-linked agarose size exclusion chromatography base matrix that are frequently used for coupling affinity ligands to the matrix. Theses matrixes are not pre-activated and the user performs all steps in coupling. The columns available are our cross-linked dextran resin SpinOUT™ columns or the polyacrylamide SpinOUT™ G-Acryl columns for rapid desalting or buffer exchange applications and our prefilled size exclusion columns.

Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography (HIC) resins, including butyl agarose, octyl agarose and phenyl agarose are offered as resin alone or in 1 and 5ml FPLC columns. A convenient HIC selection kit  featuring prepacked 1 ml columns of G-Trap™ Butyl Agarose 6 Fast Flow, G-Trap™ Octyl Agarose 6 Fast Flow, G-Trap™ Phenyl Agarose 6 Fast Flow (High Sub) and G-Trap™ Phenyl Agarose 6 Fast Flow (Low Sub) is also available.

Ion Exchange Chromatography resins, including the cation exchanger resins CM agarose and SP agarose and the anionic exchanger resins DEAE agarose and Q agarose. These resins are offered as G-Trap™ FPLC columns, including a G-Trap™ Ion Exchange Selection kit, featuring a 1ml columns of G-Trap™ CM Agarose Fast FlowG-Trap™ SP Agarose Fast FlowG-Trap™ DEAE Agarose Fast Flow and G-Trap™ Q Agarose Fast Flow column.

Empty FPLC columns, empty low pressure glass columns, empty spin columns and empty gravity flow columns are available for researchers to pack their own columns or researchers can utilize G-Biosciences column packing service.

For small scale protein purification of specific proteins and protein complexes, four immunoprecipitation kits are offered. The Classic Immunoprecipitation, a Co-Immunoprecipitation, a Cross-link Immunoprecipitation and a Direct Immunoprecipitation.
