QuenchShield™ Mountant

QuenchShield™ Mountant is glycerol based aqueous mountant, which prevents quenching of fluorescence of fluorescent labeled cells and tissues samples during fluorescence microscopy experiments. In addition, it helps preserve the fluorescence of stored slides.

Features:

• Prevents quenching or photobleaching of fluorescent dyes and fluorescent proteins during fluorescence microscopy experiments
• Glycerol based, non-hardening and ready to use formulation
• Ideal refractive index (~1.47)
• Fluorescent labeled cells or tissues treated with QuenchShield™ Mountant can be stored for months at 4°C with sealing with little to no quenching.
• Contains no counterstain.
