Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography

Currently offered reagents are an array of Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography (HIC) tools for the separation and purification of proteins and other biomolecules based on their hydrophobicity. Our G-Sep™ Butyl Agarose Fast Flow (FF) and  G-Sep™ Octyl Agarose Fast Flow (FF) resins are 6% cross-linked agarose with butyl or octyl groups for Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography (HIC). These resins are used to separate proteins and biomolecules based on relative hydrophobicity. 

Also available are pre-packed G-Trap™ columns for separation and purification of proteins based on hydrophobicity. Our G‐Trap™ Butyl Agarose 6 Fast Flow and G‐Trap™ Octyl Agarose 6 Fast Flow are convenient and reliable purification columns. The G‐Trap™ Phenyl Agarose 6 Fast Flow (Low Sub) and G-Trap™ Phenyl Agarose 6 Fast Flow (High Sub) expand the range of binding capacities to give researchers additional flexibility based on the properties of their protein of interest.  All G-Trap™ columns are available in 1mL and 5mL sizes.
