Target Protein XPO4 Clonality Polyclonal Storage/Stability -20°C/1 year Application WB,IHC,IF/ICC,ELISA Recommended Dilution WB 1:1000-3000 IHC 1:200 IF/ICC 1:200-1:500 Concentration 1 mg/ml Reactive Species Human,Mouse,Rat Host Species Rabbit Immunogen A synthesized peptide derived from human XPO4 Specificity XPO4 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total XPO4 Purification The antiserum was purified by peptide affinity chromatography. Form Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline , pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.Store at -20 °C.Stable for 12 months from date of receipt Gene Name XPO4 Accession No. Q9C0E2 Alternate Names Exp4; Exportin-4; exportin4; FLJ13046; KIAA1721; xpo4; XPO4_HUMAN; Description Mediates the nuclear export of proteins (cargos) with broad substrate specificity. In the nucleus binds cooperatively to its cargo and to the GTPase Ran in its active GTP-bound form. Docking of this trimeric complex to the nuclear pore complex (NPC) is mediated through binding to nucleoporins. Upon transit of a nuclear export complex into the cytoplasm, disassembling of the complex and hydrolysis of Ran-GTP to Ran-GDP (induced by RANBP1 and RANGAP1, respectively) cause release of the cargo from the export receptor. XPO4 then return to the nuclear compartment and mediate another round of transport. The directionality of nuclear export is thought to be conferred by an asymmetric distribution of the GTP- and GDP-bound forms of Ran between the cytoplasm and nucleus. Cell Pathway/ Category Primary Polyclonal Antibody Protein MW 127 kDa Usage For Research Use Only! Not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. - Reviews
