IMPORTANT NOTE This product is custom manufactured with a lead time of 3-4 weeks. Once in production, this item cannot be cancelled from an order and is not eligible for return. Target Protein WDR79 Clonality Monoclonal Storage/Stability -20°C/1 year Application WB Recommended Dilution Western Blot: 1/1000 - 1/2000. Not yet tested in other applications. Concentration 1 mg/ml Reactive Species Human,Mouse,Rat Host Species Mouse Immunogen Purified recombinant human WDR79 protein fragments expressed in Ecoli Specificity WDR79 Monoclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of WDR79 protein. Purification Affinity purification Form Purified mouse monoclonal in buffer containing 0.1M Tris-Glycine (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) with 0.2% sodium azide, 50% glycerol. Gene Name WRAP53 Accession No. Q9BUR4 Q8VC51 Q5XII5 Alternate Names WRAP53; TCAB1; WDR79; Telomerase Cajal body protein 1; WD repeat-containing protein 79; WD40 repeat-containing protein encoding RNA antisense to p53 Description WD repeat containing antisense to TP53(WRAP53) Homo sapiens This gene encodes an essential component of the telomerase holoenzyme complex, a ribonucleoprotein complex required for telomere synthesis. This protein is enriched in Cajal bodies, nuclear sites of RNP processing that are important for telomerase function. It interacts with dyskerin, TERT and TERC, other components of active telomerase, and with small Cajal body RNAs (scaRNAs), which are involved in modifying splicing RNAs. This mRNA also functions as a p53 antisense transcript, that regulates endogenous p53 mRNA levels and further induction of p53 protein by targeting the 5' untranslated region of p53 mRNA. Alternatively spliced transcript variants which differ only in the 5' UTR have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2011], Subcellular Localization nucleus, telomerase holoenzyme complex, cytoplasm,Cajal body, Protein Function DNA metabolic process, telomere organization, telomere assembly, telomere formation via telomerase, positive regulation of catalytic activity, positive regulation of molecular function, chromosome organization, regulation of transferase activity, positive regulation of transferase activity, regulation of telomerase activity, positive regulation of telomerase activity, Usage For Research Use Only!
