IMPORTANT NOTE This product is custom manufactured with a lead time of 3-4 weeks. Once in production, this item cannot be cancelled from an order and is not eligible for return. Target Protein UBP14 Clonality Polyclonal Storage/Stability -20°C/1 year Application WB,ELISA Recommended Dilution WB 1:500-2000 ELISA 1:5000-20000 Concentration 1 mg/ml Reactive Species Human,Mouse Host Species Rabbit Immunogen Synthesized peptide derived from part region of human protein Specificity UBP14 Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of protein. Purification The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen Form Liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, and 0.02% sodium azide. Gene Name USP14 TGT Accession No. P54578 Q9JMA1 Description ubiquitin specific peptidase 14(USP14) Homo sapiens This gene encodes a member of the ubiquitin-specific processing (UBP) family of proteases that is a deubiquitinating enzyme (DUB) with His and Cys domains. This protein is located in the cytoplasm and cleaves the ubiquitin moiety from ubiquitin-fused precursors and ubiquitinylated proteins. Mice with a mutation that results in reduced expression of the ortholog of this protein are retarded for growth, develop severe tremors by 2 to 3 weeks of age followed by hindlimb paralysis and death by 6 to 10 weeks of age. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008], Protein Expression Placenta,Skin, Subcellular Localization proteasome complex, cytoplasm, plasma membrane, cell surface, cytoplasmic, membrane-bounded vesicle, cytoplasmic vesicle, synapse, extracellular exosome, Protein Function catalytic activity:Ubiquitin C-terminal thioester + H(2)O = ubiquitin + a thiol.,caution:The sequence shown here is derived from an Ensembl automatic analysis pipeline and should be considered as preliminary data.,caution:Was originally (Ref.1) thought to be a queuine tRNA-ribosyltransferase.,similarity:Belongs to the peptidase C19 family.,similarity:Contains 1 ubiquitin-like domain.,subunit:Homodimer ., Usage For Research Use Only! Not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. - Reviews
