IMPORTANT NOTE This product is custom manufactured with a lead time of 3-4 weeks. Once in production, this item cannot be cancelled from an order and is not eligible for return. Target Protein RGRF1 Clonality Polyclonal Storage/Stability -20°C/1 year Application WB,ELISA Recommended Dilution WB 1:500-2000 ELISA 1:5000-20000 Concentration 1 mg/ml Reactive Species Human,Mouse,Rat Host Species Rabbit Immunogen Synthesized peptide derived from part region of human protein Specificity RGRF1 Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of protein. Purification The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen Form Liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, and 0.02% sodium azide. Gene Name RASGRF1 CDC25 GNRP GRF1 Accession No. Q13972 P27671 P28818 Description Ras protein specific guanine nucleotide releasing factor 1(RASGRF1) Homo sapiens The protein encoded by this gene is a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) similar to the Saccharomyces cerevisiae CDC25 gene product. Functional analysis has demonstrated that this protein stimulates the dissociation of GDP from RAS protein. The studies of the similar gene in mouse suggested that the Ras-GEF activity of this protein in brain can be activated by Ca2+ influx, muscarinic receptors, and G protein beta-gamma subunit. Mouse studies also indicated that the Ras-GEF signaling pathway mediated by this protein may be important for long-term memory. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported. [provided by RefSeq, Mar 2009], Cell Pathway/ Category MAPK_ERK_Growth,MAPK_G_Protein,Focal adhesion, Protein Expression Brain,Thalamus, Subcellular Localization intracellular, cytosol, plasma membrane, growth cone, neuron projection, Protein Function domain:The DH (DBL-homology) domain mediates interaction with RASGRF2.,function:Promotes the exchange of Ras-bound GDP by GTP.,PTM:Ubiquitinated.,similarity:Contains 1 DH (DBL-homology) domain.,similarity:Contains 1 IQ domain.,similarity:Contains 1 N-terminal Ras-GEF domain.,similarity:Contains 1 Ras-GEF domain.,similarity:Contains 2 PH domains.,subunit:Homooligomer and heterooligomer with RASGRF2. Interacts with USP8, thereby regulating its stability., Usage For Research Use Only! Not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. - Reviews
