Gill's Hematoxylin Stain (I-III) (2 Citations)

Conventional stain used for H&E staining as well as counterstaining in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and cytology procedures. Ready to use formulation optimized for progressive nuclear staining with lower risk of overstaining than other formulations. Filtration and acid alcohol differentiation steps are not required with these formuations.
Manufactured with BSC certified reagents.
Gill I (single strength) is ideal for cytology applications. Whereas the Gill II (double strength) formulation is suited for both cytology (if darker staining is desired) and for histology applications such as IHC counterstains, and H&E staining. Gill III (triple strength) formulation is better suited to obtain darker nuclear stainin in histology applications with very short staining times.
