Spin Column designed for protein purification using up to 700µl desalitng or affinity resins. The total volume of the column is 1.1ml, so a 400µl reservoir is available for qwashing and elution steps. The column features a screw cap, is polypropylene and has a 30µm hydrophilic polyethylene frit above a snap off end. The columns can use 1,5 and 2ml centrifge tubes as collection tubes. Frits are supplied but not installed in the column.
Simply add the affinity resin and sample to one of the spin columns, then use a microcentrifuge to efficiently wash away contaminants and elute your purified sample without losing any resin in the process. Spin columns allow you to affinity purify more protein in less time.
