Terminal Transferase catalyzes the untemplated addition of deoxynucleotides to the 3' hydroxyl terminus of DNA molecules. This enzyme is derived from the dntt gene from Mus Musculus, and is the "Isoform S" version, which is a 131 amino acid N-terminal truncation of the enzyme described in Comparison of the Two Murine Deoxynucleotidyltransferase Terminal Isoforms, Boule J.-B., Rougeon F., Papanicolaou C.J. Biol. Chem. 275:28984-28988 (2000)
