Terrific Broth, Animal-Free Soytone, w/o Glycerol is animal free enriched bacterial culture medium without glycerol. The Tryptone is replaced by animal free soy hydrolysate (soytone). The medium is widely used for cultivation of E. coli with plamid before plasmid purification.

Terrific Broth, Animal-Free Soytone, w/o Glycerol provides lot-to-lot consistency due to it animal free component. It is suitable for applications where the use of animal products pose a safety hazard and undesirable contamination.

Features:

• Enriched medium free of animal component and without glycerol
• Composition: 2% Soytone, 2.4% Yeast extract, 17 mM Potassium phosphate monobasic, 72mM Potassium phosphate dibasic, pH7.2± 0.2.
• Sterile filtered using 0.2 μ filter unit.
• Available in 1 L and 10 x 1 L sizes.
• Botted in high quality sterile PETG bottles
