ω-Aminohexyl Agarose

ω-Aminohexyl Agarose is prepared by covalently linking 1, 6-diaminohexane with 6% cross-linked agarose. ω-Aminohexyl Agarose affinity purifies proteins based on lipophilic association between the hydrocarbon side chains on the agarose and hydrophobic pocket in the protein.
