CBP-Tagged Protein Purification
Calmodulin Resin for the affinity purification of calmodulin binding proteins (CBP), including recombinant proteins with a CBP tag and calmodulin-regulated proteins in eukaryotic cells. The resin is 4% agarose coupled to calmodulin and has a ligand density of approximately 1mg calmodulin/ml resin.
The Calmodulin Resin is available as resin alone or supplied in a kit format. Calmodulin Binding/Wash Buffer and Calmodulin Elution Buffer are available individually or as part of a kit. Also available is full length Human Recombinant Calmodulin.
Calmodulin is one of nature’s calcium-binding proteins that participate in calcium cell signaling pathways by binding to Ca²⁺ . Calmodulin contains specific domains that bind to calcium.
