Magnetic Beads
Magnetic bead purification techniques offer some significant advantages over traditional protein and nucleic acid purification techniques. Rapid purification of proteins and antibodies is simple with coated magnetic beads. Save time and money by substituting your column based nucleic acid purification with a silica coated magnetic bead technique.
Protein A and Protein G Magnetic Beads are a simple and affordable way to purify your antibodies of choice. Recombinant Protein A or Recombinant Protein G is covalently coupled to the dextran coat to produce an enhanced alternative to agarose slurries for immunoprecipitation experiments.
Carboxyl Magnetic Beads are used to couple molecules to the free amine by numerous amine-reactive methods. The magnetic bead consists of a single-crystal Fe3O4 sphere core and dextran coating layer. Through chemical modification of dextran, the carboxyl groups (-COOH) are joined to the magnetic beads through a short hydrophilic linker. The hydrophilic surface ensures the magnetic beads excellent dispersion ability and easy handling property in a wide variety of buffers.
Amine Magnetic Beads with surface-reactive amino groups allow immobilization of ligands such as proteins, peptides, carbohydrates or other target specific molecules. Immobilization of ligands can be through reductive amination of aldehyde or ketones without prior activation of the bead surface. Alternatively, carbodiimide cross-linkers can be used to couple ligands to the amines via their carboxyl groups. Finally, amine reactive heterobifunctional cross-linkers can be used to introduce other functional groups for coupling ligands.
Ni-NTA Magnetic Beads are 3µm beads designed for the rapid purification of His-tagged proteins. Ni-NTA Magnetic Beads have nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) groups with charged nickel covalently bound to the surface dextran of the beads. Due to the high affinity, Ni-NTA Magnetic Beads can be used for capturing 6X His-tagged proteins.
Silica Magnetic Beads are used for efficient and simple nucleic acid binding. Purify plasmid DNA, genomic DNA, RNA, or PCR products in less time and for less cost than column purification.
Epoxy Activated Magnetic Beads are suitable to couple biomolecules with free amine (NH2) and thiol (SH) groups.
NHS-Activated Magnetic Beads enable covalent, amine-based conjugation of proteins to magnetic beads for use in custom affinity purification. The activated magnetic beads contain N-hydroxy-succinimide (NHS) functional groups that react with primary amines forming stable amide linkages.
Streptavidin Magnetic Beads are used as a rapid and simple tool for immunoprecipitation, purification and other applications. Biotinylated molecules, such as nucleic acids, peptides and proteins can bind to Streptavidin Magnetic Beads easily. By applying magnetic attraction, Beads-molecules complex will be temporarily immobilized at tube wall, so the other parts in supernatant can be removed easily and efficiently.
Anti-DYKDDDDK Magnetic Beads are used for the purification and immunoprecipitation (IP) of DYKDDDDK-tagged proteins. The FLAG tagged sequence, DYKDDDDK is recognized by a high-affinity rat monoclonal antibody (clone L5) that is covalently attached to magnetic beads.
Magnetic Stand is used for efficient pull down of magnetic beads in 1.5mL and 2mL tubes. This stand contains a powerful magnet that pulls beads to the side of the tube and allows removal of supernatant with no bead contamination.
