Columns

G-Biosciences offer a selection of empty chromatography columns for spin column chromatography, gravity-flow chromatography, and fast protein liquid chromatography (FPLC).

A variety of chromatography columns with 1 or 2 adjustable ends are available for 5-7 bar and 10-30bar. The 5-7 bar 1 side and 2 side adjustable columns are available in nine internal dimensions (5, 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 37 and 50mm) with ten column lengths (100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 and 1,000mm).  The 10-30 bar 1 side and 2 side adjustable columns are available in four internal dimensions (15, 25, 37 and 50mm) with column lengths of 100, 230, 310, 460 and 920mm. 

Spin columns are available in 10mL, 5mL, 3mL, 1mL, and 100µL volumes.  These empty, plastic, disposable columns come in a large variety of sizes to accommodate many resin volume requirements.

The G-Trap™ FliQ FPLC columns are housed in medical grade polypropylene and are resistant to commonly used column chromatography reagents.  These columns are available in a wide variety of sizes to accommodate an assortment of resin bed volumes.

For a consistent and reliable empty FPLC columns we offer the G-Trap™ FPLC columns.  These empty polypropylene columns are affordable, reliable, and available in 1mL and 5mL sizes.

Also available are a range of empty gravity-flow columns. The 5ml empty, plastic, disposable columns have an internal volume of 6.5ml and is designed for small scale gravity flow purifications. The resin bed volume is 2.5ml. Supplied with caps and stoppers. The 20mL column holds up to 20ml resin and has a 12 ml reservoir for a total volume of 32ml.  The column is 7” (~17.5cm) and has a screw cap and rubber end stoppers. The column is fitted with ~30µm hydrophobic polyethylene. The polypropylene columns are contact-transparent, chemically-resistant and appropriate for use with organic solvents and stronger acids (except oxidizing acids) and alkalis.
