PCR Reagents

G-Biosciences offers a wide selection of affordable regular and high-fidelity DNA polymerases and deoxynucleotides (dNTPs) for performing PCR. These are high quality enzymes and dNTPs for successful and reproducible PCR.

I) DNA Polymerases:

• Taq DNA Polymerase possesses a 5´→3´ polymerase activity and a 5´-flap endonuclease activity that can amplify DNA up to 5kb with an elongation velocity of 0.9-1.2kb/min at 70-75°C.  
• PFU DNA polymerase has superior thermostability and proofreading properties compared to Taq DNA polymerase. It can amplify DNA target up to 2kb. The elongation velocity is 0.2~0.4kb/min at 70~75°C. Also possesses 3' to 5' exonuclease proofreading activity that enables the polymerase to correct nucleotide-misincorporation errors. 
• Taq Plus DNA Polymerase is a mixture of Taq DNA Polymerase and Pfu, a proofreading DNA Polymerase, which allows for the amplification of long templates, up to 20kb, with high fidelity.
• Hot start Taq DNA Polymerase is chemically modified that possesses a 5´→3´ polymerase activity and a 5´-flap endonuclease activity.
• High fidelity DNA Polymerase possesses 5´→3´ polymerase and 3´→5´ exonuclease (proofreading) activities. This unique Polymerase amplifies DNA with high processivity in highly TA- or GC-rich regions.
• Hot start high-fidelity DNA Polymerase is chemically modified that possesses 5´→3´ polymerase and 3´→5´ exonuclease (proofreading) activities.

 II) DNA Polymerases 2X Master Mix:

• Taq DNA Polymerase 2X master mix is ready to use premix which contains Taq DNA Polymerase, dNTPs and optimized buffer with stabilizers. Taq DNA Polymerase possesses a 5´→3´ polymerase activity and a 5´-flap endonuclease activity.
• Pfu DNA Polymerase 2X master mix is a premixed, ready-to-use solution containing Pfu DNA Polymerase, dNTPs, MgSO₄ and Reaction Buffer at optimal concentrations for efficient amplification of DNA templates by PCR. Pfu Mix contributes to highly reproducible PCR by reducing the risk of pipetting errors, miscalculation and contamination.
• Taq Plus DNA Polymeras 2X master mix is a premixed, ready-to-use solution containing Taq Plus DNA Polymerase, dNTPs, Mg2+ and Reaction Buffer at optimal concentrations for efficient amplification of DNA templates by PCR. To prepare the final PCR, only primers and template DNA are added.
• Hot start Taq DNA Polymerase 2x master mix is ready to use premix which contains hot start Taq DNA Polymerase, dNTPs and optimized buffer with stabilizers.
• High-fidelity DNA Polymerase 2x master mix is ready to use premix which contains high fidelity DNA Polymerase, dNTPs and optimized buffer with stabilizers. 
• Hot start high-fidelity DNA Polymerase 2x master mix is ready to use premix which contains hot start high fidelity DNA Polymerase, dNTPs and optimized buffer with stabilizers.

III) Deoxynucleotides (dNTPs):

The dNTPs are supplied as

• an equimolar mixture of dATP, dCTP, dGTP and dTTP that are available at 10 and 25mM concentrations
• a set of individual dNTPS 
• individually at 100mM.
